Paella recipes are basically Spanish rice dishes cooked in paella pans. There are many types of paella recipes but Valencia paella is considered the original recipe. Olive oil is commonly used in all types of Paella recipes as it is a basic ingredient.
Seafood Paella Recipe
First, heat olive oil in a Paella pan and then add chicken pieces and cook it until it browns. After that add celery, garlic, onions, and different peppers and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Now add a chicken stock cube, saffron, and rice in the mixture and boil. Finally, add sausage, mussels, shrimp, and crab pieces. Salt lightly and cover the paella pan and leave it on low heat for 15-20 minutes. Now the chicken Paella is ready.
Vegetarian Paella recipe
Start by heating olive oil in a large Paella pan then add onion and bell peppers and cook until golden. Then add garlic and artichokes and leave it on low heat. Now add rice, chicken stock, tomatoes, and boil. At the end, stir in some peas and cover the pan with a lid until the rice is cooked.
Chorizo and Chicken Paella recipe
Preheat oven at 400°F. Heat olive oil in a large Paella pan. To the heated oil, add chorizo pieces. Stir until you can smell its fragrance. Now add garlic, bell peppers, and onion and cook until onions are translucent. Add rice, saffron and bay leaves and mix it well. Now add chicken stock cube and boil the mixture. At the end, add peas, tomatoes and roasted chicken pieces. Place it in the preheated oven until the rice is cooked.
