Three 'One-Bowl' Dinners

Three 'One-Bowl' Dinners

It is not at all surprising why one-bowl meals are so popular at this point. This meal concept suits the modern lifestyle and leads people to practice healthy eating habits.

People nowadays feel like they need to go for the quickest option. Today's fast-paced life requires us to have a lot of things done at a given time. Even in eating, some prefer to have instant meals and others resort to fast-food chains’ mass-produced edibles which often contain a huge amount of preservatives that can bring about negative effects in our body.

Fortunately, 'one-bowl' meals are emerging. These are simple meals that can be prepared in just a few minutes. These are quite easy to arrange and some don’t even require cooking. Even if your day at work has been busy, you can still manage to set up one-bowl meals. If you know how to fill your bowl with healthy items, this concept is best for dinners since your body's ability to utilize the sugar you consumed is at its weakest point during the evening. ‘One-bowl’ dinners are known to help people lose weight but make sure you limit yourself with just one ‘bowl’. Below are three delectable ‘one-bowl’ dinner ideas you can try:

Spicy Sofritas Vegetable Bowl

- A bowl of vegetables comprised of cilantro, long grain rice, pinto beans, avocados, limes and red onion drenched in flavorful sofritas sauce.

Oatmeal Power Bowl

 - Your favorite bowl of oatmeal topped with bananas, cinnamon, almond milk, chia seeds and ground flax. You can have it garnished with almonds, nut butter, and cinnamon.

Salmon Sushi Bowl

-Steamed rice sprinkled with Rice Wine Vinegar and topped with cucumber, avocado chunks, carrots, cilantro and chopped spicy salmon marinated in soy sauce, sambal, sesame oil, minced ginger and rice wine vinegar.
